Ecoworx Ltd offers a comprehensive range of options for managing your forest or farm woodlots. We provide both the management input and operational contracting work, saving you money by eliminating the middle-man.

We specialize in the establishment of Eucalyptus and Cypress ( macrocarpa ) forests for production of untreated timbers. However, we are more than happy to look after your stands of radiata pine or any other native or exotic tree species you may have in mind.

For new forests the process starts with GPS mapping of your planting area, and creating a site-specific forest plan tailored to the growing conditions of your particular piece of land.
As the forest grows we build up a record of all silvicultural operations such as fertilizer application, pruning and thinning so that when the forest is eventually harvested, there will be a comprehensive history of everything that has been done to ensure a yield of top quality timber.

For existing forests we can help with management advice, perform any silviculture that may be required, install roading and erosion controls, and harvest your trees for you if they are ready for logging.

Once the trees reach harvesting age we offer a number of options land owners can choose from including logging and sawmilling on-site, harvesting only with the forest owner selling their own logs, or marketing logs and timber on the owners behalf.
